Thursday November 25th: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
1. FREE Thanksgiving Dinner: at St. Francis Community Center, 4700 Long Beach Blvd. in Long Beach Twp. For more information, call 609-494-8861 ext. 170. Also, St. Francis will deliver approximately 100 Thanksgiving meals to homebound residents in the community.
2. FREE Thanksgiving Dinner: From 2pm-6pm at Tiki Taco at the Manahawkin Mart, 657 East Bay Avenue in Manahawkin. Full traditional dinner is free but reservations are requested. Takeout will also be available. Call 609-597-6100.
Friday November 26th:
1. Santa’s Arrival and Christmas Tree Lighting: Begins at 7pm at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in Barnegat Light. Santa will arrive at the 10th Street boat ramp and procveed through Borough Hall on a fire truck for the lighting of the Borough Christmas Tree. Features visits with Santa for the children and refreshments. Call 609-494-9196 for more information.
Saturday November 27th:
1. Santa Visits Viking Village: 1-3pm. Santa arrives on a fire truck and takes free pictures with children. Bring your own camera. For additional information call 609-361-7008.
2. The Sounds of Broadway: At 2 and 5pm at the Surflight Theater in Beach Haven. An exciting review of various well-known shows including “The Music Man,” “Phantom of the Opera,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” Call 609-492-9477 or visit http://www.surflight.org/ for tickets, $25.
3. The Shack: Dune Fence Creations: 10am at the LBI Foundation of Arts & Sciences. Use old dune fence pieces and driftwood to create your own shack. Call 609-494-1241 or visit http://www.lbifoundation.org/ for more information.
4. Join Buckalews for their Ugly Sweater Contest in their Tavern November 27, Winner will be announced 10pm with $100 Gift Certificate
